Palazzo del Poggiano

In the picturesque setting of the Valmarecchia, a few kilometers from Rimini and the Adriatic coast, is situated on the hill of Poggio Berni Palazzo del Poggiano, a former noble mansion surrounded by a centuries old park. In the XIV century this fortified house and its lands, place of hunting and recreation area, were property of the Malatesta of Rimini, and later became the subject of conquest by other important dynasties that succeeded in the property. There are, among others, Bentivoglio, Nardini, the Della Rovere, the Doria, the Gonzagas and the Medicis. This old charming site has been carefully restored respecting style and historicity, both in restoring the integrity of the structure, both in design and decor of his many environments, and anywhere you can appreciate the great care and attention to detail: from ancient cellars, warm, comfortable, dominated by the original wooden ceilings decorated with wooden beams, the refined elegance of the halls and rooms on the floor "noble" of the house. Today, thanks to the contribution of facilities and services useful to a modern use, the old house becomes a versatile location, ideal for different kinds of events, private or corporate, who always guarantee a setting of prestige and atmosphere unforgettable, romantic wedding receptions (the Catholic religious ceremony can be celebrated in the private chapel), gala dinners, business meetings, photo shoots.
