The Museum of Grande Torino and of the Leggenda Granata is located in via U.K. La Salle 87 in Grugliasco (TO) and is open on Saturdays from 14 to 19 and Sundays from 10 to 19 (last admission both days at 17.30). After 10 years since passed in two rooms inside the cloister of the Basilica of Superga, the Museum moved to Grugliasco in 2008 in the premises of the splendid seventeenth-century Villa Claretta-Assandri where utilizes the approximately 650 square meters available to show visitors several relics of the history of Torino FC from 1906 to today. Among these, we can enumerate the Balilla belonged to Gigi Meroni, a part of the wooden grandstand of the stadium Philadelphia, the handset of the "trumpeter of Philadelphia" which gave the charge to the players of the Grande Torino, the masseur box with ampoules still intact despite the tremendous impact in addition to a wheel and a propeller plane. To give you an idea of the richness of the museum collection, are exhibited original documents from 1906 to the present, original photos of players and coaches from 1912 to date, original shirts and suits of Turin and the national team from 1927 to today, shoes and balls from the original 50s to today and hundreds of personal belongings of the players properties. The tours are guided by volunteers who narreranno the story of a large corporation often linked to the historical events of our country.
