The cultural association no profit "Wagons in Shipyard" was born November 16, 2006 in Jelsi. The Association's activities are directed to the protection, promotion and enhancement of historical and artistic heritage of the area Jelsi. The Association works with the aim to discover and interpret contemporary reality, developing a path of understanding with other initiatives in the area. In the belief that the cultural property represents an important resource for the development of the local environment, it has also adopted other strategies to engage and stimulate their participation, operating as part of the growth of territorial promotion, hospitality, tourism and the recovery of traditions. The grain museum "The Showcase Tell" was conceived and created in 2006 by "Chariots in Shipyard" that still takes care of the logistical and organizational aspects. In a short time he quickly assumed a leading role in historic and artistic regional landscape.
In pursuing its aim, also organizes educational avenues of research on the history and traditions; over the school years he has made photo exhibitions, shows, reconstructions of environments, videos, publications of magazines and thematic collections of poems, short stories written by the students who have revealed the validity of the involvement of children and young people.
These guidelines have inspired the programming of all the association's activities, paying special attention to the Wheat Festival in honor of St. Anne which is one of the most important and distinctive folklore and traditional events of the Molise Region.
