The Pillar Foundation Museum was founded in 1999 under the name of Museo del Corso, on the initiative of the President of Fondazione Roma, Prof.. Emmanuel F.M. Emanuele, and on the basis of its deep conviction that art and culture recite a leading role in promoting the integral development of society approaching people that the economic and social status, ethnicity, political opinions, religious beliefs , too often they tend to separate from each other.

The art and culture combine what is divided because they are able to create a common code, where all barriers are torn down.

The Third Pillar Foundation Museum presents itself as a promotion tool of this universal language is not mere physical space for the enjoyment of art but also a place of socialization, shared experiences and participate in the community.

An identity that the museum has built and established over time through a series of side events to exhibitions, such as thematic meetings, concerts, performances, poetry readings, and other initiatives for children, specifications for the weak social categories.

A museum that seeks social inclusion and integral development of the community, careful to value the past of the city of Rome, its unique heritage in the world and, at the same time, open to contemporary artistic movements, Italian and foreign, as evidenced by the numerous exhibitions held to date, who have consecrated the Museum as one of the most respected and dynamic national and international cultural scene.
