I wanted to make a page dedicated to this amazing artifact knowing that today is also difficult to reach and visit it. It would be nice if associations such as the FAI tearing adopt the growing degradation. The current structure of the Castle, contemplating the tower and the complex environments that also incorporated some existing rooms carved into the rock and located on the top of the cliff, dates back probably to the Arab-Norman period. The first historical documented the castle date back to the fourteenth century. The castle stands and is framed in a beautiful landscape in a unique, characterized by a long, high ridge that determines a barrage of the valley where the stream or valley Gresti streaming into Gornalunga. Castle structurally includes a large ground floor used in ancient warehouses and stables, and a first floor accessible by a stone staircase which looks on the local road Tufo. The first floor was connected to the tower terrace with sweeping a marble spiral staircase; characteristic and rare is the full tower overlooking the valley and maybe it was home to fani for communication between various castles including those still existing Enna Agira, Aidone.
