La Masseria Della Casa is an old farmhouse located in S. Angelo in Formis, at the foot of Mount Tifata, on the edge of an ancient tuff quarry called "Grotta dei Corvi", along the sacred road that from the ancient Capua led to the temple of Diana Tifatina, the current Benedictine Basilica. At the end of '700, close to a group of these caves and on the ruins of the Roman era, this farmhouse was built as it appears in the current configuration including the wall surrounding it as a fortress in the open countryside . The Masseria, whose original structure is still preserved today, is on two levels, the main side opens onto the Campana Plain that extends to the sea. Currently, after a long and passionate work of recovery and consolidation, both of the walls, completely dilapidated, of the interiors and green areas inside the wall, the Masseria, beyond the home of the owners, houses a small Bed and breakfast that has given life back to this country house left for many years abandoned.
