Once the core of the mighty Roman Empire, and the cradle of the Renaissance, it is also home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, including high art and monuments. Italy is famous for its delicious cuisine, it's trendy fashions, luxury sports cars and motorcycles, diverse regional cultures and dialects, as well as for its various sceneries from the seas to the Alps and Apennines, all reasons why it got nickcoded Il Bel Paese (the Beautiful Country). One of the great things about Italy is that its long thin shape means that when you get fed up with sightseeing you are often a relatively short distance from a beach. In many of the more popular areas, large sections of beach are reserved as paid beaches. Italy is full of differents cultures you can see: Etruscan Italy, The Greek influence, Roman ruins, Christian Italy, The Byzantine cities and The Renaissance.

Travellers often pass through on their way to southern Italy. Many tourists also stop to visit its winter sport resorts in the north, discover the charms of its Lakes district, visit the city of Milan (with its Duomo, the La Scala theatre and the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie that houses Leonardo Da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'), or simply relax in the region's central hills dominated by its vineyards.

Lombardy

The Riding Club Ruk live in harmony all equestrian disciplines, from show jumping to attack. In our school it is possible to begin to assemble the age of four years in the Pony Club and then continue in the competition season, both in jumping and in dressage. October 2014 also the courses vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) are initiated. Our technicians are federal Larissa Lombardi for the competitive sector and Nicoletta Danieli for the play sector and vaulting.
