Villa Prever is an example of Art Nouveau, whose date of construction of the villa should be paid in 1910. The property of the villa with adjoining park on October 7, 1969 goes to the City of Pinerolo, which became the seat of Hospitality. On 15 March 2011, the Board deliberated an act for the destination of Villa as Seat of the Civic Museum of Natural Sciences Mario Strange, opened May 31, 2013. The museum has been operated since its creation ANP - Naturalistic Association Pinerolo, of which Dr. Mario Strange was founder. Museum characterizing is the extraordinary collection Mycological created by Dr. Strange, who collected specimens of fungi from all continents, then creating for each a cast resin and plaster. The collection thus presents more than one thousand different species for a total of about 3,000 copies.

Besides this collection, the Museum's collections include those of zoology, geology, mineralogy and the fossiliferous, transferred in May 2016 in the second building, a low building at the bottom of the park. This was once the kitchens Hospitality Institute, shows a completely different set-up from the villa, showing us in a box a multifunctional space, suitable to host educational workshops, lectures and cultural events.
