Once the core of the mighty Roman Empire, and the cradle of the Renaissance, it is also home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, including high art and monuments. From here a tangle of paths of varying difficulty and length offer the opportunity to live a unique experience in close contact with unspoiled nature.
The refuge is suitable as a starting point to reach the most important peaks of the Gran Paradiso.

From Valsavarenche continue to loc. Le Pont where you will find ample parking. From here the Refuge is easily reached on foot in 15 min.
