For over two hundred years, the characteristic profile of the roofs tells the story of this ancient building in the center of Villanova Mondovì, in the shade of centuries-old fir trees and with a view of the medieval town of Villavecchia. It is the history of the ceramics of Mondovì and its lively crockery, at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The elegant cobalt blue decorations echo, today, in the ten rooms of the Albergo della Ceramica, under the brick vaults of the spinning mill of the early nineteenth century, which has become a classy living room. An environment in which past and present are not distinguished, where the polychrome dishes on the walls coexist with the most modern technologies, and the yellowed photographs of the decorators are well suited to the refined furnishings.
