Wexford Wildfowl Reserve, owned by the National Parks and Wildlife Service and BirdWatch Ireland, covers about 500 acres of land reclaimed from the sea in the 19th century which is within the Wexford Harbour & Slobs Special Protection Area for birds, and next to Raven Point Nature Reserve Special Area of Conservation.

We are famous for our overwintering population of Greenland White-fronted Goose; one of Europe's rarest geese, and the Irish Hare.

The facilities include an interpretive centre with a tower hide and four separate bird watching hides. We offer a range of educational programmes for schools and groups and there is always lots to see and do. Free entry and all events are free of charge also. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
