Cavan County Museum, a magnificent 19th century building, which is beautifully situated amid extensive grounds nestling among the East Cavan lakes and drumlins, an ideal starting point for a relaxing family day out.

A tour of the Museum through its elegant exhibition galleries provides an insight into the heritage of Cavan from antiquity to recent times.

When you have explored the exhibition areas, why not pay a visit to our Craft and Coffee shops where you can relax and enjoy a snack. Afterwards you walk it all off with a leisurely stroll in the gardens and walkways in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, and for younger visitors the playground will be a welcome diversion.
