It is a surprising fusion of ancient and modern, a genuine melting pot of cultures and traditions. While Old Delhi displays a kaleidoscope of historical landmarks, New Delhi offers British colonial architecture, tree-lined avenues and urbane skyscrapers. No wonder Delhi is one of the world’s fastest-growing metropolises. A non-exhaustive list of its attractions includes Qutub Complex, Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb (all three UNESCO World Heritage Sites), Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, Lal Mandir, Laxminarayan Temple, Jama Masjid, etc.
