The Petőfi Literary Museum was the central museum of Hungarian literature, which was established in 1954 as the successor to Petőfi House. His task is to collect, guard, process, publish and exhibit literary memories. In addition to its permanent Petőfi exhibition and periodical literary exhibitions, the museum also offers a variety of programs: literary conversations, readers, book shows, round tables, summer concerts and theater performances await visitors.
