Theater Rüsselsheim

The Theater Rüsselsheim opened its doors in September 1969 and has since offered a program in the fields of drama, children's theater, cabaret, music theater and concert. This extensive selection offers our visitors to know the unknown and to enjoy the well-tried. The large hall has 865 seats on parquet and rank, in the auditorium of the back stage can accommodate about 400 visitors / place.

Our subscription rings address the different interests of the visitors. There are the mixed rings 1 and 2 with music and speaking theater, a drama, a music and a concert ring. There is also a children's and a youth theater subscription. In addition, the theater is one of the venues of the concert series Jazz Factory www.jazz-fabrik.de.

The spacious foyer of the theater is used for the series "Klassik für Kids" and for chamber concerts. There are also works from the municipal art collection.

As a festival of satirical short film, the "Rüsselsheim Film Days", which take place every year since June 1994, have gained nationwide importance. Since 2001, the program is shown on two days.

By the way, 250 parking spaces are available directly at the theater, and the theater can also be reached by public transport (bus line 31, 32, stop: Friedhofstraße / corner of Walter-Flex-Straße).
