Theater im Fischereihafen

The theater in the fishing port - in short: TiF   was opened on 10 May 1996 in the Forum Fischbahnhof, a former, lovingly restored fish dispatch hall. The theater has meanwhile conquered a permanent place in the cultural life of Bremerhaven and is an important component of the Schaufensters Fischereihafen.

Over 22,000 visitors attend around 130 performances a year.   Klaus Lage, Ingo Appelt or Götz Alsmann are just a few of the better-known artists performing at the TiF. On the other hand, up-and-coming artists from the region are given the opportunity to perform under professional conditions.   Concerts, comedy, musical cabaret and surprises outside of every genre make up the colorful mix of the TiF.   Instant Impro - the Bremerhaven improvisational theater has found its firm place in the TiF and plays regularly every month.   At the end of the year, top-class acrobats, artists and comedians will delight in the Varieté Porta P. and spoil the audience during the pre-Christmas season.   An excellent technical equipment, the rising grandstand with very good visibility and last but not least the special atmosphere in the heart of the fishing port do their part to make the visit to the theater in the fishing port to a successful evening.
