For more than 100 years, the Ohnsorg Theater has been a permanent institution in Hamburg. Not least stars such as Henry Vahl or Heidi Kabel made the house known beyond the borders of Germany. In August 2017, Michael Lang took over the direction of Christian Seeler. Modern folk theater is played from classic to comedy. The success gives the director right: More than 160,000 visitors can book the house annually.

After 75 years at the old location in the Grosse Bleichen, after three years of intensive planning and around 19 months of construction, the Ohnsorg Theater moved to its new theater in the heart of the city in August 2011, the Bieberhaus at the main station.

Visitors and fans can expect a modern, elegant and comfortable theater, with a cozy café, a large hall for 400 people and a studio stage for 70 people.
