With about 82 million inhabitants, Germany is the most populous member state of the European Union. Hohenzollern Castle, built in the 19th century, is located south of the Swabian Alps.The Land has many other tourist attractions, including the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), the Lake Constance (Bodensee), the Swabian Alb (Schwäbische Alb), the Danube and some historic towns such as Baden-Baden, Konstanz, Heidelberg, Freiburg and in Brisgau, Tübingen and Ulm. The landscapes are very diverse, from the vast forests to the monumental lakes and rivers of the Land.
