Founded in 1946, the Zoo de La Fleche was the first private zoo to emerge in France. Nearly a century later, it still stands and is among the top 5 zoos French in number of visitors.
Through the quality of its facilities and the work of its teams, the park bears all its attention and efforts to the development of the welfare of animals and the visitor.
Every day, teams make every effort to make the Zoo a convivial space constantly changing, with respect for its residents. This commitment is particularly characterized through four key missions: public education, his distraction through innovative, meaningful entertainment for the animals but also the conservation of species, and research in situ and ex situ.
These last two points prove fundamental when one knows the many threats facing the living: environmental degradation, deforestation, pollution, competition for living space and food resources, hunting, poaching and trafficking .
