Théâtre Renoir

Theater Renoir, cultural facilities managed by the Urban Community of Annecy, is a theater of 240 dedicated to performing arts spaces, located on the town of Cran-Gevrier.     The artistic project and partnerships

The art project is structured around four main themes:

• A Season of multidisciplinary performances and for everyone:

About 25 professional shows are offered each year, mainly around the movement arts (dance, circus ...), family shows and young audiences, theater or music of mestizo

• The support for creation with multi-year artistic residency:

The theater is a shared house and foremost a house of artists. And to develop both artistic creation and cultural activities with the public, and enroll in length, the Renoir Theatre hosts in it long residences in artists: The Turak Theatre (Lyon) and Multiple Motors (Annecy)

• The Supporting the emergence:

Working homes and support for emerging companies of the department within the device Route Bis - support for innovative projects of local artists

• The Festival of nomadic arts:

A summer event with a dozen outdoor shows offered for free around the circus arts, street arts, traveling theater, music etc.

The Theatre offers audiences many cultural projects (workshops fans, school, meetings, open rehearsals) and regularly develops partnerships with cultural players in the territory of the agglomeration (exhibitions, lectures, co-host of shows etc. ).

Theater Renoir joins the association Link, network programmers Rhone-Alps and Switzerland and is part of the Collective "Near the Scene" which includes various entertainers of the Haute-Savoie.
