TAPS Théâtre Actuel et Public de Strasbourg

Resolutely turned towards the theater today, TAPS, and current public theater Strasbourg moves closer to creation and contemporary writing. Created in 2002, it is headed by the director Olivier Rosary. It undertakes concrete in supporting professional productions Cies, a significant portion of working area. TAPS has 2 seasons of shows (one mostly theatrical, from September to June, and the other composed of young audiences, musical readings, concerts, classical recitals for 5 weeks in summer). TAPS, open to all, is also engaged in artistic training and support for public (workshops, courses, meetings ...). It has two rooms: the TAPS SCALA (Strasbourg Neudorf) - 173 seats + a small room with 50 seats (the Cave) and the TAPS DAIRY (Laiterie Strasbourg-Gare) modular room of 114 seats; and a building of 7000 m2: THE THEATRE FACTORY with 13 rehearsal rooms, tertiary and exhibition spaces. TAPS is dedicating a specific time of the season to playwriting: CURRENT, week an event that welcomes authors, actors and musicians for a friendly discovery of the theater which is written today.
