Bordering Normandy and Pays de la Loire regions. Bro Gozh ma Zadoù is the anthem of Brittany. It is sung to the same tune as that of the national anthem of Wales, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, and has similar words. The region is composed of fishing villages on the southern coast, medieval fortifications and towns, craggy coastline (including the magnificent Côtes d'Armor of pink granite), parks and nature reserves that make it a favoured destination for lovers of rest and tranquillity. It played a major role in France's history, from ancient Gaul to the Hundred Years' War. Today it plays a significant economic role, based on agriculture, livestock breeding and industry.

Brittany

Situated on the coast, Saint-Pol-de-Leon is a very charming and interesting city in Brittany. In the past, this was an old episcopal site. Today, Saint-Pol-de-Leon is above all known as one of the largest vegetable producers in France. This city is even called the Breton capital of artichoke.
