Refuge du Sotré

The refuge is Sotré Surrounded by nature, at 1200 m altitude in the Vosges Mountains, 15 minutes walk from the GR5 and the summit of Hohneck. It has all the amenities Youth and Sports, Education & Social Solidarity Company. The refuge is also labeled Recreation Area Para (2nd structure in France to have received this recognition) and benefits from the brand Tourisme & Handicap.

The refuge hosts many groups throughout the year: sports clubs, people with disabilities, business seminars, school children or on vacation, works councils and associations, general public.

The home team designs made stays and for all activities, recreation, mountain sports in all seasons (all terrain wheelchair CIMGO and QUADRIX, ski chair joëlette, hiking, camping, orienteering, treasure hunt ...). For comfort, enjoyment and safety of all, the supervision of these activities is provided by qualified professional guides and approved by the National Education and Disabled qualified.

The refuge Sotré invested 1.8 million € in 2012 to modernize its infrastructure. 17 financial partners followed the project. The refuge now offers 11 rooms of 5 people, 1 dining room, 1 meeting room, classroom or lecture (the hotel is fully adapted to the home of people with disabilities).

The National Accessibility trophy came rewarded the efforts of the Sotré House team in 2015!
