Opéra de Limoges

The Opera Theatre of Limoges is a public institution that is a creative center, production and distribution of operas and ballets, to local and regional vocation.

The designs and new products are designed, within the framework of co-productions, with a view to wider dissemination on the regional territory, in France and abroad if necessary.

The institution is also implementing a music program that relies primarily on the Opera Orchestra of Limoges in terms of symphonic music on artists and renowned national and international training for all the field of art music, improvised or traditional. It particularly explores all forms of vocal music.

The program is also open to all performing arts (dance, theater, circus arts, young people ...) in connection with the main cultural actors of Limoges and the region.

Opera Limoges seeks to implement an artistic project that includes coverage program lyric, choreographic and the widest possible musical, a project the excellence of artistic proposals.
