Looking for a haven of peace to recharge your batteries closer to nature for a few days? The Vulture lodge opens its doors, far from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. You will go from surprise to surprise. First of all, you will have the impression that the little path that you take takes you to the end of the world and that's really the case! The beautifully renovated house is lost in the middle of the national park of Grands Causses, perched on a cliff overlooking the gorges of the Dourbie. Here you will find the authenticity of a caussenarde sheepfold with vaulted ceilings and stone walls, built in the late eighteenth century. Furnishing Louis XV style will give you the illusion of living in the past although the house offers all the desirable comfort in respect of ecology (electricity supply by solar panels) Your days will be punctuated by nature. In the early morning, you will be treated to a concert of birds against the backdrop of the murmur of the wind in the trees. When you pass the threshold, you will have the surprise of beautiful encounters: a squirrel that comes to steal a few nuts, a rabbit family that detects your approach, a deer or a deer who is watching you from afar, a boar who lives his life without worry about you or our goats that will come in the vicinity do the curious ... You will be surprised by the changes of color of the landscape according to the hours of the day. It would be astonishing that some wild vultures do not offer you the spectacle of their majestic flight near their nests so many in the gorge Jonte. And always, wherever you look, the infinite horizon of large spaces caussenards will offer to you: Tray Larzac, Black Causse, Causse Mejean, cut deep coombs vertical walls. You will be surprised by the quality of the silence, by the impression of peace which emanates from this place, cut off from the world. When night falls, you only have to lift your chin to have your head in the stars and travel in the milky way, so close that you will believe it to be touched.
