La Ferme de Maurel, Gîte et Chambres d'hôtes de charme

The Maurel farm is located halfway between Toulouse and Foix, Ariège. This haven of peace of 13 hectares is located on the heights of Fossat, in the midst of the beautiful hilly scenery of Ariège. The Ferme de Maurel dates back to the 18th century, and has been completely renovated with taste and character. All year round, we welcome tourists, nature lovers or heritage in our three guest rooms (two double and a family suite for 2 to 5 people) and our cottage for 9 people. The cottage of 175 m2 was built on the ruins of an old barn. It consists of four bedrooms and upstairs a large living space with fully equipped kitchen. Thanks to our privileged location, you will enjoy a superb panorama on the Pyrenees chain; having breakfast under the barn or bathing in the secure pool! We work with local producers to concoct if you want a friendly table d'hôtes and breakfasts. Because the products of the soil are numerous we put at your disposal a barbecue and a summer kitchen. For children, a playground! For you to enjoy your holidays, we suggest hiking, local events (Carla Bayle, restaurants, Cathar castles ...).
