It is sung to the same tune as that of the national anthem of Wales, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, and has similar words. The region is composed of fishing villages on the southern coast, medieval fortifications and towns, craggy coastline (including the magnificent Côtes d'Armor of pink granite), parks and nature reserves that make it a favoured destination for lovers of rest and tranquillity.
