Fortress Mimoyecques, nicknamed the "Canon of London" is one of the most impressive edifices imagined by Hitler. This underground base located in the locality of Mimoyecques near Landrethun-le-Nord, dug in 1943 in limestone hills, was used to install the V3 gun. The site was struck by the Royal Air Force July 6, 1944, with giant bombs Tallboy, which put an end to the threat. Renovated in 2010 under the supervision of the Dome, the Fortress is now open to the public 6 months per year.

Situated 5 miles from the coast and 90 miles from London, the Fortress of Mimoyecques Was one of Hitler's revenge weapons. Unlike the V1 and V2, the V3 Was a fixed weapon, a super gun avocation at London. The Site Was Targeted by the famous 617th Squadron of the RAF led by Wing Commander Leonard Cheshire. It was Redeveloped under the supervision of La Coupole in 2010 and turned into a museum.
