Leaning back on a collection of 1,500 original contemporary works, documentation 20 000 books and 15 000 photos of artists, workshops and works, the Donjon de Jouy has both an open-air gallery in English-style park (2 km walk) drawn by Choulot 1850 and around one of 30 fortresses of Bourbonnais and Berry, a historic monument, an art gallery with events throughout the summer: May to September. The owners, encouraging school in the region, have the ambition to make available to the public a comprehensive inventory of biodiversity (also exceptional in that Javoulet in Brenne and Bec d'Allier), an illustrated database sculpture in France since the 50s and the restoration / consolidation of the Roman legacy, mediaeval and the industrial era of the valley of the Aube, country of art and history.
