Burgundy-Franche-Comte

Agglomeration, Region and City have partnered to give birth to this great project that carries the Franche-Comté French capital on the scene of contemporary culture by radiation from a unique offer combining music, dance, drama and contemporary art. The building, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma international fame, is in itself a work inspired experimentation and creative synergy. True case of cultural practices of today and tomorrow, the City of Arts will be one of the centers of innovation and cultural vitality of Besancon.

The opening of the City of Arts will take place the weekend of 6 and 7 April 2013, many come to discover this superb animated structure for the occasion multiple demonstrations, concerts, performances and exhibitions!
