Cinema Studio 7 - Auzielle

Since 1985, Studio 7 claims its appellation of local cinema and follows, as closely, national and international cinema. It is located on the border of the city and countryside and it is in a green setting that our team welcomes you all year in its cinema fields! This room a hundred seats, refurbished in 2005, offers sessions every day, several events per month and receives about 23 000 spectators per year.

Favoring the quality of reception and the permanent contact with his audience, our property participates in local development Auzielle while radiating all the neighboring towns. It also creates bridges with the cities and cinemas Castanet and Ramonville through the Web association Hers, and Toulouse welcoming decentralized festivals. Throughout the year, we work in partnership with local associations, organizing various events such as foreign film series, theme nights, parties debate ...

Holds a national ranking arthouse label together with a young audience, we offer more topical sessions, a program for the youngest (at the rate of one film a week when possible) and a cycle around the repertory cinema a century of cinema with, on average, one session per month.

History:

In 1985, after several years of film club, Mr. Bozec, both passionate about cinema and Mayor Auzielle, allows the town to acquire a cultural institution benefiting from Lang laws

In 1988 a children's film festival is taking place in partnership with Ramonville while Tavernier is received Auzielle for Beatrice passion.

In 1989, Studio 7 is assigned its first ranking arthouse (there while 3 rooms in Toulouse area to get it).

In 1995, after 10 years of existence, Studio 7 festival as it should 100 years of cinema, Miller receives and turns with about 120 films a year.

20 December 96, the Gaumont Labège multiplex opens the doors of its 16 rooms. A 44 francs instead, the first opening week was a success with 17,972 entries (about our annual results) ... and a disaster for Studio 7!

The association "The Canvas of Hers" is created and through it the SICOVAL helps 3 cinemas of its territory. In 2001, the festival's Canvas Children born then and is open to all area schools.

And then, gradually, remaining faithful to an arthouse programming, keeping a low tariff policy, sticking together with colleagues from other independent cinemas, the audience returned.
