A stone's throw from the famous Canal du Midi, Amphoralis overlooks the archaeological excavations of a potters' workshop which was a real Gallo-Roman production town. Open since 1992, it tells the activity and the daily life of potters and tile makers who produced en masse amphorae, building materials (tiles, bricks ...) and everyday objects. An outdoor course leads to reconstructions of ovens and a habitat. Center of archeological experimentation as well as place of discovery and animations for the public, the museum welcomes you for an original course, in the heart of this artisan district and houses.
