The Abbey was founded in 1201 by Constance of Brittany. Very important in the fifteenth century, it was partially destroyed in the revolution. Abandoned since the last war, it was fully restored in 1977. The abbey is now a boutique hotel retaining the traces of its history and its noble architecture. The 20 rooms and very comfortable apartments have retained their authentic decorations. They are equipped with color TV, telephone, alarm clock. The simple, classic public areas are in perfect harmony with the order of the building.

Located 15 minutes from Nantes and 10 minutes from Nantes-Atlantique Airport, the Abbaye de Villeneuve offers in accordance with the spirit of yesteryear, large lounges and meeting rooms, surrounded by a park four hectares.
