The capital city of Tallinn will lure you in with its well-preserved medieval old town. You’ll want to stay to explore its many museums and to take in the mix of old and new architecture. If you make your way further south, you can explore Tartu which is a lively university city. Although Estonia is a small country, it has a long coastline along the Baltic Sea which is dotted with many small beach towns to explore. If you are visiting Estonia in the summer, you will want to make a stop in Pärnu, which is known as the summer capital of the country. There, you can enjoy the beach, festivals, night clubs in addition to the city’s old town. If you’re looking for nature, you might consider Matsalu National Park or Sooma National Park. The collection of the University of Tartu Museum is spread across three locations: the University of Tartu Art Museum, the Tartu Cathedral, and the Tartu Old Observatory. The museum's main focus is on scientific equipment and the history of science, although it has an art and photography collection as well.
