Tallinna Loomaaed / Tallinn Zoo

Tallinn Zoo is a zoo in Tallinn, the only one in Estonia. The zoo is located in Veskimetsa, in the Haabersti district of Tallinn.

The Tallinn Zoo was founded on August 25, 1939.

The first exhibit of the Tallinn Zoo was Ilves Illu, who, as a son, was awarded the team of Estonian Lascotters who became the world champion in 1937 and won the Argentine Cup. Illu is also depicted in the zoo logo.
