22/10/1968 Founding General Meeting of A / S Sydfyns Golf Company

06/05/1970 Uofficial initiation of 9 hole course (40 participants in the tournament)

09/26/1970 Official opening of Svendborg Golf Course

04/14/1973 Inauguration of clubhouse (the club has 200 members)

1979 A / S Sydfyns Golf Company and Svendborg Golf Course are dissolved and form the basis for a new golf club.

1982 Svendborg Municipality secures land so that the pitch can be extended to 18 holes.

1985 Annika Östberg becomes the club's first Danish champion (the club now has 400 members).

1987 The course is expanded to 12 holes. The independent institution Svendborg Golf Club is founded.

04/28/1990 The last 6 holes are revealed.

1991 Restaurant "The 19th Hole" opens.

2000 Svendborg Golf Club acquires land for another 9 holes.

07/04/2001 New clubhouse is inaugurated (member number has passed 1000).

2002 Par 3 course with 9 holes inaugurated.

2004 Svendborg Golf Club becomes DGU Junior Center.

2005 Official initiation of enlargement to 27 holes.
