Skovgaard Museum is the art museum in Viborg. The museum was established to honor the artist Joakim Skovgaard, who created the north's largest church decoration in Viborg Cathedral. At the museum you can experience more of his works and get the story of his father and siblings, all of whom were artists. The collection contains works from the Danish Golden Age and onwards. Experience beautiful landscapes and heartbreaking love stories in Viborg's old town hall. The museum shows various exhibitions throughout the year.
