Nicolai Cinema shows a varied range of films from all over the world: ranging from artistic films, to documentaries and children's films. Nicolai Cinema & Café is run by the association FILM6000 and the about 100 volunteers who work actively for a live cinema environment in Kolding city center.

The student film club 'Orange Living Room' in Nicolai Cinema & Café is an offer for students and young people in Kolding. For Orange Stue's movie events, the price is only DKK 50 per ticket with a student card. For all other movies in the cinema there are 10 kr. Discount for students and 10% study discount at the café.
