Frederikssund Museum is a cultural history museum for Frederikssund Municipality and the area around Roskilde Fjord. The museum is located in a 20-hectare country-wide natural area, for which there is free access. The museum has good, free parking and several bus connections right to the door.

In the museum's new modern and interactive exhibition, opened in March 2017, the story of the interaction between man on one side and the fjord is described as a life-giving element on the other. In the exhibition visitors can see how Roskilde Fjord has shaped and influenced the life of man around the fjord, as well as how human use of the fjord as a resource has changed from ancient times to modern times.

Frederikssund Museum also offers a shop, café, a beautiful garden area perfect for a wonderful picnic trip with the whole family, school service and a host of exciting events and events throughout the year.
