Ceramics are an art that is constantly moving - as the Middelfart clay, the exhibitions underground are literally surrounded.

The museum exhibits a series of special exhibitions each year and includes an extensive collection of high-art ceramics.

At CLAY Ceramics Museum Denmark you can experience ceramics, crafts and high-art design. The museum also houses a collection of approx. 55,000 items from the majors of the Danish porcelain and faience factories, thanks to a donation in 2010 from Royal Scandinavia A / S. A selection of the collection can be seen in the museum's "Treasury".

The meeting between modern and historical is reflected in both the exhibitions and museum architecture, where the main house is a historic villa dating back to 1857, while the exhibition rooms reflect a modern Nordic style with large bright rooms. With its location on the edge of Lillebælt, CLAY is one of the country's most beautiful museums.
