Bornholms Teater

Bornholms Teater is Bornholm's local theater. Bornholms Teater's ambition is to offer the highest quality theater art, with a solid foundation in Bornholm culture. We pursue this ambition through productions of theater performances that focus on Bornholm themes, and through collaboration with local associations, institutions and artists in Bornholm. Bornholms Teater is Bornholmernes Theater, but also has ambitions that extend beyond Bornholm. We cooperate with other professional theaters in Denmark about tour performances, and are thus helping to promote Bornholm. Bornholms Teater also produces the popular Bornholmerrevy, for the benefit of Bornholm and the island's guests. Bornholms Teater is resident at the historic Rønne Theater from 1823 and is part of an active and close collaboration with Rønne Theater, Bornholm Bornholm and Bornholm Drama School to present a rich and varied range of theater performances, theater education and other cultural activities to the Bornholmers. Bornholms Teater receives operating support from the Bornholm Regional Municipality.
