The Command Bunker, Sanitetsbunkeren, Childbunker, Inquirer Bunker, and Bunker Steaks are always accessible when the Bunkermuse is open. These well-preserved bunkers offer a glimpse into the daily lives of the soldiers stationed here.

On selected days, you can also visit the Firefighting Bunker, Radar Bunker, and the Crew Member bunker, which can be explored through guided tours. Additionally, there are bunkers available throughout the year, free of charge, such as the Sliding Beam for 15 cm cannon, Sky Bunkers for 15 cm cannon, Crew Bunks, Ammunition Bunker, Ring Position, Siegfriedbunkers, and 37 air host position.

Breathtaking Views

Aside from its historical significance, Bangsbo Fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of Frederikshavn and the Kattegat waters. From the vantage point 82 meters above sea level, you can marvel at the beauty of the surrounding landscape. On clear days, you might even catch a glimpse of Skagen and Læsø, adding an extra touch of magic to your visit.

When to Visit

Bangsbo Fort is open year-round, allowing visitors to explore its historical treasures at their own pace. The fort is an open military area, and while some parts are accessible on foot, it is recommended to drive to the parking lot in the middle of the area if you plan to visit the museum. The fort can also be accessed via Queen Street, starting at Møllehuset.
