They call it the Central Park of Prague! Enjoy a nice afternoon in nature in one of Prague's biggest and most beautiful parks.

Are you looking to get out of the noisy city for a few hours into an outdoor paradise? Stromovka park is essentially that. Since it’s so big and green you completely forget that you’re still in Prague! One of the many beauties of Stromovka.

Have an afternoon picnic or bring some fun outdoor activities and enjoy them in one of the million grassy patches around the park. With over 250 hectares of land, you’ll surely be able to find a place that works. The park is perfect for hosting bigger gatherings such as birthdays, or drinking shenanigans!

Stromovka is literally for everyone and that’s why we love it. There are amazing trails for people who want to run. Acres of space to let your dog run. Tones of grassy space to play sports on. Gorgeous fountains, buildings, and natural beauty for outdoor lovers!

  • Beautiful tram ride: the tram ride to Stromovka is absolutely gorgeous. The tram tracks actually finish in the park and it’s beautiful. A great place if you’re looking to take a photo of a classic Czech tram.
  • Stromovka gets a lot of recognition for being the biggest park in Czech but the history behind the park is also quite interesting and it even dates back a couple years to 1928 when it first opened as a hunting ground.
  • There are a few historic and fascinating buildings in and around the park which gives it that historic feel with a modernized twist with all the new additions to the park over the years.
