Stand up paddleboards, kayaks, and paddle boats are fun! But renting a motorboat is next level. It seems like a lot of work to plan and prepare for but as long as you got a few people to go with and book in advance you can rent a motorboat for an afternoon.

You might be thinking “I have no idea how to steer a motorboat.” But don’t you worry! The people you rent the boat from will show you exactly what to do and in about 5 minutes you’ll feel like you could sail across the Atlantic. It’s super easy!

The best part of taking a motorboat on the river is you can go wherever you want at whatever pace you want. Bring snacks, music, and drinks and take turns steering the boat while hanging out and enjoying the gorgeous views all around you!

• You can take a bus or the tram quite close to where the boats dock and from there you will see the office where you can pay (cash only). From there you’ll get all the information you need to be ready to cruise around the Vltava.
• We rented the boats for a few hours because once you get on them you’ll never want to get off. Especially if you bring some delicious snacks and drinks on board.
• There are all sorts of different boats! So depending on the size of your group you should easily be able to find something that works for you.
• This is also a great afternoon activity if you’re bringing your kids!
