**An under-the-radar botanical garden with a historical villa, a lake filled with coy fish, tropical greenhouses, and beautiful nature and art that change with the seasons. **

This is the most perfect garden to take a morning or afternoon walk. Because it isn't located in a central area of Prague, it truly is a hidden gem - and many locals themselves don't even know about it (which is such a shame because it really is stunning).

Immediately upon entering, you'll notice the gorgeous, historical villa that sits on a hill, overlooking the lake. This lake is home to ducks and coy fish... and if you're lucky, you might even see a few nutrias splashing around.

Though it may be small, this garden has many small paths to take and many wonders to explore. There are many different types of plants and flowers here, which are clearly labelled and are often changed according to the season. There are also many art pieces created from plants, flowers and other materials found in nature, that are scattered throughout the park - which, too, change seasonally.

...And you won't want to miss the tropical greenhouses - filled with all sorts of incredible fauna. It even has its own section dedicated solely to cacti! If you're looking for peace, tranquillity, and nature in Prague, this botanical garden is hard to beat!

Tips and Tricks

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for nutrias, and even peacocks! And to see the most coy fish in the lake, stand on the small, wooden bridge!
