Explore one of Prague’s local farmers’ markets in JzP square where the smell of fresh coffee and Czech culture awaits.

It’s not every day you’ll find a farmers’ market located next to a famous church, above a metro, and surrounded by all the trendiest shops in town. But that’s what you get when you come and explore one of the hippest neighbourhoods of Prague: Zizkov.

JzP Farmers Market is right in the centre of the square. You’ll find the lovely JzP Farmers’ Market where you can find a wide range of fresh produce and delicious treats that will keep you coming back for more. We can’t help it, the sweets are too good. Try an apple strudel and you know what we’re talking about!

Once you’re done your shopping or browsing you can order a coffee from one of the cute little stands and go find one of the many park benches that are scattered throughout the square. Enjoy relaxing and people watching as the sun shines down on the square all afternoon.

  • We recommend bringing cash to the market as most vendors will only accept cash. Especially the ones with fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • It’s a great way to learn a little bit about the Czech food culture and even chat up some locals about the local food. - - Not all vendors speak English but all vendors are super nice!
  • Along with the market, there are tons of cute cafes and shops around the edges of JzP square.
