Anything with the word Chocolate in it is worth visiting, isn’t it? You’re in for a real treat at the Chocolate Museum in Prague.

A museum for chocolate? Say no more! If you’re in for a treat (literally) then go check out the Chocotopia Chocolate Museum in the heart of the city - one of the 10 biggest museums designated to chocolate in the world.

Inside the museum, you’ll get the perfect combination of knowledge about the cocoa bean and sampling the chocolate (yumm!). That’s what you came for, right? So you’ll learn a little bit about what you’re sampling and where it originated plus the different ingredients that go into making the delicious goodies we snack on “not every day”, right?

After all that you’ll be able to go into the shop down below where of course you can buy some of the chocolate you sampled. Either for yourself or as a souvenir gift. Even if you’re not a shopaholic, you can at least roam around and see all the different sweets from different parts of the world.

  • The history of cacao goes back over 3000 years. At the museum, they’ll scratch the surface about the history while you munch on the yummy samples.
  • It couldn’t be more fitting that Celetná street where Chocotopia is located is considered the chocolate street of Prague. Definitely your go-to street for sweets!
  • Inside the museum, you will also be able to watch a virtual reality video about the Aztecs and explore their ancient city of Tenochtitlan. The Aztecs are some of the first known to grow cacao beans.
  • Inside the museum, you will be able to try all sorts of samples of chocolate from all around the world.
