The Našice Native Museum was founded in 1974 as a complex museum with its activity covering the so-called " našići kraj (area of ​​the town of Našica and the municipalities of Feričanci, Donja Motičina, Đurđenovac, Podgorač). Due to the variety of materials, collections were created within the following departments:

  • Archeology department
  • Cultural and Historical Department
  • Ethnology department
  • The science department
  • The Museum Library Department

Particularly important for the mission of the museum is the fact that the museum is located in the Pejačević Castle, a protected cultural building built at the beginning of the 19th century, therefore the proper use of this space and research of the heritage of the Pejačević family, in particular paintings and works by Dore Pejačević (1885. - 1923), the first Croatian composers. Museum collections are presented to the public through permanent exhibitions:

  • The memorial room of Hinka Juhna
  • Memorial Room of Isidor Kršnjavi
  • Memory Room Dore Pejačević
  • Historical overview of the Našice region
  • Ethnographic collection
  • Pottery of Pottery
  • Hunting Room / Hunting of the Našice region
  • Gallery of Peachesic family's ancestral branches

The museum also organizes a large number of occasional exhibitions at the ZMN Exhibition Center, where other visiting museum and gallery exhibitions are being held. Since 1979, in the area of ​​the museum, there are conventions and exhibitions of the Colony of Art Ceramics, the oldest artistic colony of this type in Croatia, bearing the name of Hinka Juhna, the sculptor of the founder of modern Croatian ceramics.
