Biblioteca Patrimonial Recoleta Dominica

Founded in 1753, currently in loan with Dibam, its collections have been available to the community since 2005, it has one of the largest collections of scientific-religious books in our country (115,000 vol.), With collections of maps, magazines, newspapers, brochures, prints and photographs. Its bibliographic collection dates from the sixteenth-twentieth centuries covering various areas of knowledge, especially religion, philosophy, history, literature, art, medicine, law, astronomy, botany and zoology. It fulfills a double function: library and museum. His collection can be appreciated in all its immensity by the general public and studied by specialists and researchers.
