Teatro Municipal Raul Cortez

The Municipal Theater Raul Cortez has capacity for 440 spectators, rehearsal room, two dressing rooms, each with a capacity of 20 people, foyer, drinking fountains, two large social bathrooms, one female and one male, and one of the largest stages in Brazil and the peculiarity of being reversible, thus, it is possible to present spectacles for the internal and external public, having frontal vision of the Library Leonel de Moura Brizola, that composes next to this Theater, the Cultural Center Oscar Niemeyer (Place of the Pacificador), in the center of Duque de Caxias - Rio de Janeiro.
